I was back up at the Squaw Rock area this morning trying to locate some trout. Many years back I could hook eight to 10 inch trout on a regular basis in this area. Now, nothing. Is it my lack of skill or are the fish just not there? The
DFG used to stock this section with trout but I doubt they are doing that anymore.
Anyway, it's a fun section to cast and drift flies with no crowds.
